i mostly ditched the idea of this blog being daily LMAO.
anyways, i wanted to share thingsies with you.
I am reading a book!!
i have watched project hail mary two times already and i was so invested that i bought the book, the thing being... I NEVER READ!
I have never read a book to the its that wasn't a diary of a whimpy kid. instead, gaming kept me immersed in fiction and fantasy, and i cant express how much i actually WANT to read more and different books just because of the stories that they hold.
I think its the same with games honestly, games also hold great stories hidden behind its gameplay, its just that some games are hard and a turn off for some people.
take Elden Ring for example, (one of my favorite games) it has a world build by George R. R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki, with great characters each with well crafted family ties and backstories. Elden Ring is not just a very hard game, if its story was in a book instead of a game it would be near Tolkien level of depth.
But... Elden Ring is still a hard game, which puts off so many people from experiencing the amazing story of the lands between.
Very sad :<
i don't have much more but my mind is always boiling over with information so it wont be long before i write another entry :P
the moral of the story: don't just read more, but experience more :D
